Dr. Carl Pogoncheff was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan and chose to return to his hometown to open his practice.

Dr. Carl Pogoncheff is a three-time graduate of the University of Michigan, BA, DDS, and MS in Prosthodontics. He is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist earning the distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. As a Prosthodontist (specialist for the replacement of missing teeth) he maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics with a focus on the surgical placement of dental implants in Lansing, MI. He served as an adjunct clinical associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the Graduate Prosthodontic department with a teaching focus in implant surgery. He serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Prosthodontics, on the Council of Michigan Dental Specialties as the Prosthodontist Representative and served for ten years as the President of the Richard H. Kingery Study Club. He has served in organized dentistry on local, state, and national levels including as past chair of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry Alumni Board of Governors. Dr. Pogoncheff is a published author including contributions to the Implant Ninja All-on-X Handbook as chapter author and contributing editor, published a textbook on Zirconia Implants and has publications in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Pogoncheff is a consultant for Implant Genius and has been a contributor to Implant Ninja Education. Carl Pogoncheff DDS MS FACP operates Advanced Dental Solutions, his private practice limited to Prosthodontics, in Lansing, MI.
